Turkey Meatloaf

Introduction

A great twist on an old favorite! A great twist on an old favorite!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 20-oz package lean ground turkey
    1/2 cup Low Sodium Triscuits (crushed into crumbs)
    1 lg egg
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3/4 cup ketchup

Directions

Preheat over to 350 degree. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and saute onion and garlic until onion is translucent. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine the turkey, Triscuit crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the onion mixture and mix thoroughly.

Set in the loaf pan and shape into a loaf. Smear the ketchup on the loaf.

Cook for 60 minutes or until done.

Serves 6.
