Meeche's Chicken Pasta Primavera

Introduction

Chicken and veggies with pasta in a tomato sauce. Chicken and veggies with pasta in a tomato sauce.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    * 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast
    * 2 cups marinara sauce
    * 15 oz package frozen vegetables
    * 2 cloves garlic
    * 8 oz ziti
    * 1 tsp dried oregano
    * 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
    * 1 tsp garlic powder
    * 1 tsp onion powder
    * 1 tsp Goya adobo (you can substitute salt)
    * 8 tsp parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

1. Cut chicken into cubes. Season the chicken with oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder and adobo. Spray a large pan with cooking spray. Cook chicken until done.

2. Cook pasta as directed on package.

3. Steam vegetables and garlic until crisp tender. Chop vegetables into bite sized pieces. Finely chop garlic and add to vegetables.

4. Heat sauce in a pot and add the vegetables, garlic and chicken.

5. Drain the pasta. Divide pasta onto 4 plates and top with sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
