Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients

    10 oz spaghetti
    10 oz ground turkey
    1/4 cup diced onion
    1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 tbsp italian seasonings
    1 cup 1% cottage cheese
    2 tbsp parmesan cheese
    4 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (1 cup)
    Cooking spray
    1 glass pie plate

Directions

Cook and drain pasta per box directions

In small bowl combine the cottage and parmesan cheeses

Cook the turkey with the onion and garlic. Drain
Add the tomatoes and italian seasonings and simmer for 30 minutes

Spray pie plate with cooking spray. Arrange the spaghetti on the bottom and up along the sides like a pie crust. Top with the cottage cheese mixture. Add the tomato sauce over the top and then cover with the mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until the cheese on top is bubbling and golden. Remove from oven and let set for 10 minutes to firm.

Cut into 8 equal pieces
