Easy peasy Beef stew

Ingredients

    1/2 pound stewing beef, cubed small size
    3 carrots, sliced thinly
    1/5 cup chopped onion
    3 potatoes, cubed small size
    2 stalks celery sliced thinly
    3/4 cup frozen corn kernels
    8 cups water

Directions

1. brown stewing beef quickly on high heat. Add water & onions. Simmer 4 hours covered on low.
2. Add potatoes, carrots, celery & frozen corn.
3. Cover and simmer for one hour.
4. Serves 8
