Crab patties/burgers

Introduction

This is so yummy and light! A great twist on the salmon patty. This light low cal treat should be eaten with a healthy side dish of your choice. This is so yummy and light! A great twist on the salmon patty. This light low cal treat should be eaten with a healthy side dish of your choice.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 can of Chicken of the sea white crab
    1 egg (medium or large)
    1 tbsp low fat mayonnaise
    1/2 cup ground up croutons (or you could sub. bread crumbs)
    minced onion and garlic to taste (I used 1 tbsp onion and 1 tsp garlic)

Directions

Mince the garlic and onion and set aside.
In a food processor; blend the crutons.
Drain the crab meat very well then put it in a bowl.
Mix in the egg, onion, garlic, maynonnaise and croutons.
Divide the mixture into two equal parts.
Spray a frying pan with light cooking spray.
Form the two "patties"
Over med/high heat brown the patties.
Can be eaten by itself or put onto a bun (bun not included in nutritional information)
