Introduction

Conch fritters are a great delicacy in Florida and the Caribbean. This is an adaptation of one of our favorite appetizers using whole frozen cooked clams instead of conch easily obtained everywhere and baking them instead of deep frying them. Makes 12 fritters as an appetizer or 2 dinner portions of 6 fritters each. Very easy and fast. About 5 minutes prep time Conch fritters are a great delicacy in Florida and the Caribbean. • Basically these were good. I didn't have the jalapenos, which I think would give these a needed kick. I will make these again. My family liked them too. And BENCHBOXER, if your religion doesn't allow you to eat certain things, don't eat them and don't rate them for those who do!!!! - 8/28/11
