All-Purpose Meat Rub

Introduction

You can probably make this all-purpose rub with ingredients you have in your pantry right now! We like it best on brisket or ribs. You can probably make this all-purpose rub with ingredients you have in your pantry right now! We like it best on brisket or ribs.

Used on my babyback ribs. Will not use anything else. Can't wait to try in on chicken. Thanks. - 8/9/09

  • Used on my chicken! This was fabulous! I'll probably do half the salt next time (not a big salt person) and I omitted the sugar, because I'm trying not to use sugar, but wow! LOVED IT!! - 5/5/10

Just before placing mixture on meat. Mix in boulion of choice, beef - chicken, pork boulion or Vegetable boulion. Say 3 tsp of boulion.

Can add curry for a different touch.
Do not add to the large mixture of rub. Can add other spices that you like for one of your meat dishes. - 8/23/09
