Ground Pork Stroganoff

Ingredients

    1lb ground pork
    1/2 yellow onion, chopped
    1/2 red tomato, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    .25 tsp black pepper
    .25 tsp salt
    .25 tsp garlic powder
    1 cup of water
    1 can of 98% fat free Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup
    1 can chopped mushrooms
    1 package of McCormick's Beef Stroganoff Sauce Mix

Directions

brown ground pork, onion, tomato and green pepper. Once the pork is browned drain fat off of the meal. Add McCormick Beef Stroganoff Sauce Mix, water, Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup and mushrooms. Bring to a boil and cook approximately 10-15 minutes.

Serve over rice, bread or noodles

    I made this last night and my mother and husband just raved! My hubby has been ill and needs to gain weight and he ate 3 large soup bowls (over rice). My Mom NEVER asks for seconds and had a second serving. - 3/25/10

  • The recipe is not written completely. The ingredients list is missing the need for the Beef Stroganoff sauce mix. Also the directions says to use Cream of Chicken Soup when the ingredient list says Cream of Mushroom soup. My "creation" was lacking the sauce mix as I was not going to make a 2nd trip - 11/14/11
