Crockpot Flank Steak



Introduction

Good with rice or wrapped in tortilla. Good with rice or wrapped in tortilla.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 lbs flank steak
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 large onion, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 cup beef broth
    1 tsp taco seasoning mix
    3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    fresh ground pepper to taste

Directions

Brown flank steak in oil over medium high heat. Transfer to crockpot.

Saute onion and garlic about 1-2 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients, and add to pan. Bring to a boil. Pour over flank steak. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.

Slice and serve with onion sauce.

  • I made this. I got 6 servings, so I took the nutritional information and divided by 6. I added it as a "food not listed" b/c I didn't want to go through process of making a recipe to correct the nutrititional info. You should be able to retrieve the listing if you import foods from other users. - 10/31/08
