Whole Wheat Apple Bread

Introduction

The original recipe calls for sugar and oil. I changed it a little to meet the needs of my family. I got this recipe from Penzey's Spice Store. The original recipe calls for sugar and oil. I changed it a little to meet the needs of my family. I got this recipe from Penzey's Spice Store.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 cup applesauce
    2 cups splenda
    3 eggs
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking soda
    2 cups chopped apples
    1 cut nuts
    2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

Directions

Makes 12 Cake like slices
Preheat oven to 350
In large bowl combine applesauce, eggs, and splenda
In a medium bowl sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry goods to the wet, mixing well
Fold in apples, nuts, and vanilla.
Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
