Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground beef
    4 cups water
    4 cups tomato juice or V8
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp garlic salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 green pepper, minced
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 14 oz can stewed tomoatoes
    2 cups cabbage, shredded
    1/2 lbs uncooked spaghetti, broken into thirds
    1 16 oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables

Directions

In a 5 or 6 quart dutch oven, brown meat and drain. Stir in the water, juice, seasonings, pepper, onion, tomatoes and cabbage. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Prepare spaghetti according to package directions and drain. Add frozen vegetables and cooked spaghetti into the soup mixtures. heat throughly. Makes 2 1/2 - 3 quarts
