Directions

Mix dry ingredients in your Cuisenart mixer using the regular blade, to grind the oats into a fine meal. Add the chocolate chips to the Cuisenart and pulse to chop them up slightly. Add the wet ingredients mixing just until dry ingredients are absorbed. Leaving some small lumps is beneficial. After mixing, please don't stir any longer. This allows for maximum lightness. Cook on a preheated waffle iron. Makes 10-12 4 inch square waffles. Serve with sweet creamery butter and organic maple syrup to add the necessary appeal for younger tastes!
