Introduction

This is really a treat! I omitted the butter from the original recipe and if you wanted less eggs you could substitute!
we have this as a side to green beans and chicken/ turkey

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 cup corn meal ( yellow)
    1 1/2 cup Flour
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 tbsp Baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/3 cup oil ( canola )
    1 tbsp honey
    2 eggs - Large - beaten
    1 1/4 cup milk ( non fat)

Directions

Preheat the oven at 350 F /180 C
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, mix wet ingredients in a measuring jug and mix well....pour wet into dry and stir till combined.
Pour into sprayed loaf tin and bake till toothpick comes out clean!
approx 45 min ???
cool on wire rack , slice into 12 slices....
good on it's own or as a side to chicken and green beans.
can also be made in muffin tins !
