Simple Organic Baked Apples

Introduction

These are a great and healthy sweet treat for when you're craving apple pie or apple crisp. It's great over vanillia ice cream. These are a great and healthy sweet treat for when you're craving apple pie or apple crisp. It's great over vanillia ice cream.

Ingredients

    3 Organic Golden Delicious apples
    3 Organic Royal Gala apples
    7 tsp Sugar in the Raw (turabino sugar)
    Cinnamon
    3 Tbs Water

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Wash off all the apples and cut them into slices as thin as you want.
Put a layer of apples down in your baking dish. It doesn't matter what size dish. Then sprinkle cinnamon and 1 tsp of sugar over the layer. Keep layering until all the apples are used up. Sprinkle any remaining sugar over the entire thing.
Drizzle the water over all of it. This helps to create the wonderful sauce.
Bake them in the oven for 30 to 40 min, stirring them halfway through to ensure the apples in the middle are getting cooked.
Enjoy by themselves or over organic vanilla ice cream or yogurt!
