Baba's Vinegrette Salad Dressing

Introduction

I talked my grandmother out of the this recipe when I was a young bride about 40 years ago. It has always been our family favorite. Now, it has evolved and been lightened up a bit by switching to extra light olive oil and Splenda, but it is every bit as good as the original. Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    1 cup extra light olive oil
    1 cup red wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons water
    1 teaspoon seasoned salt, Lawry's
    1 clove fresh garlic, minced very fine
    2 teaspoons paprika, ground
    1 tablespoon Splenda
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper, coarsely ground
    1/4 teaspoon oregano, ground
    1/4 teaspoon basil leaves, ground
    1/4 teaspoon tarragon
    1/4 teaspoon rosemary
    1/8 teaspoon celery seed

Directions

Mix all ingredients well in a blender. Makes about 2.25 cups of dressing. Store in a mason jar and refrigerate.

Makes about 32 - 1 tablespoon servings
