Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oaties

    1/2 Cup Butter
    1/2 Cup Peanut Butter, Smooth or Crunchy
    1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
    1/4 Cup Sugar
    1 Egg
    1 teaspoon Vanilla
    1 1/4 Cup Quick or Old-Fashioned Oats
    1/2 Cup Flour (White or Wheat)
    1 teaspoon Baking Soda
    1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Cream butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Blend. Add oats, flour and soda. Blend. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape into 1-inch balls & flatten. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-11 minutes each sheet.

  • These are awesome. I could only get 48 out of the recipe, not 54. There is no temp or bake time listed in the recipe, but I baked these at 350 degrees (convection oven) for 12 minutes. - 2/23/11

  • These cookies were very delicious and satifies any craving for a cookie. The nutritional value is off because I was able to make 27 cookies out of the measurements above. Next time I'll try less butter because these were very rich. Will definitely make again. - 8/19/09
