Best Ever Banana Bread (trust me)

Ingredients

    1/2 cup shortening
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1 cup ripe bananas
    1 cup sugar
    1 1/4 Tbsp buttermilk

    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp soda
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    2 cups flour
    1/4 cup salt

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
    Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and lemon juice. Add flour, soda, salt, and baking powder. Grease and flour bread pan. Place ingredients into bread pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.

    This was the first recipe that I put on here. I wasn't sure how to do it...but yes...it is supposed to be 13 servings instead of one...but I could eat the whole loaf for sure!
