Crockpot Beef and Mushroom with Brown Rice

Introduction

This is a spin off of Crockpot mushroom and beef by DORKETT79..... I just tweaked it for our bigger family and added some other ingredients that we love with beef. This is a spin off of Crockpot mushroom and beef by DORKETT79..... I just tweaked it for our bigger family and added some other ingredients that we love with beef.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 lbs Lean stew meat
    1 Lipton onion soup mix
    1.5 cups coarsely chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Cups mushrooms, slices
    Low fat Mushroom soup
    1.5 cups of water
    1/4 cup reduced fat sour cream
    Pepper to taste
    1 tsp A1 steaksauce

    2 Cups brown rice( follow cooking directions)

Directions

Place stew meat in crockpot. Add mushrooms, garlic and onions. Add onion soup mix, cream of mushroom and water.Add pepper and A1 sauce. Mix well. Cook 10 hours on low or 4 to 6 hours on high setting.
Add sour cream after you turn off the heat right before serving.
Makes 12(1CUP) servings
Serve over brown rice.
