Ingredients

    1 Tbsp canola oil
    1 cup dry white wine
1 lb extra lean ground turkey
    1 1/2 cup onion chopped
    3/4 cup celery, diced
    1 cup carrots, chopped
    4 tsp garlic, minced
2 Tbsp tomato paste (or 1/2 can, whatever)
1/2 cup whole milk and 1/2 cup skim mixed together
2 cups chicken stock or broth

Directions

In a Dutch Oven or large pan, heat 1 Tbsp Canola oil. Add carrots, celery and onions. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, for about 3 minutes until the vegetables are translucent. Add ground turkey. Cook, stirring, until the turkey meat is cooked through. Add white wine, garlic, and tomato paste (diluted and mixed with the chicken broth). Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours. Add mixture of skim and whole milk a Tbsp or two at a time during the 2 hours of cooking.

Serve over pasta.
