Introduction

An easy less-than-5-minute idea that helps me stay healthy, get all of my nutrional needs and curb hunger! An easy less-than-5-minute idea that helps me stay healthy, get all of my nutrional needs and curb hunger!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    32 ozs bottled water
2 scoops Trader Darwin's Vanilla Flavored Whey Protein Powder
1 bag of Trader Joe's Fancy Berry Medley
    4 ozs Trader Joe's 100% Cranberry Juice
2 tsp Trader Joe's Organic Flax Seed Oil
4 Tbsn Bob's Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal

Directions

Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Makes 2 servings. If you're making it just for you make sure you half the recipe. I've found that it's best to drink it within the first hour from making it. You can add a banana or any other fresh fruit you have lying around (I do one of these right before I go to the grocery store to use up fruit that needs to be used! ***Note: remember, if you add extra fruit you need to add it separately in your nutrion tracker!) Enjoy!

  • If you're going to tag this as "vegan," you should really list just "protein powder" in the ingredients list - NOT whey protein. - 10/14/09
