Baked French Toast

Introduction

I adjusted this eMealz recipe just a bit. (Note: nutritional information is based on using Weight Watchers Wheat bread, Better N Eggs egg substitute, & Parkay spray butter, without any toppings.) I adjusted this eMealz recipe just a bit. (Note: nutritional information is based on using Weight Watchers Wheat bread, Better N Eggs egg substitute, & Parkay spray butter, without any toppings.)

Ingredients

    6 slices whole wheat bread
    3/4 c egg substitute
    1/2 c skim milk
    1 T vanilla extract
    1 T ground cinnamon, divided
    1.5 T powdered sugar, divided
    12 sprays butter

Directions

1 - Preheat oven to 425.
2 - Whisk together egg substitute, milk, vanilla, 1/2 T cinnamon, & 1 T powdered sugar in a large pan. Soak bread in mixture, flipping as required to evenly coat bread.
3 - Place soaked bread on sprayed baking sheet.
4 - Spray each piece with 2 sprays butter.
5 - Bake ~10 minutes @ 425. Broil for 3-4 minutes to brown, if desired.
