Ida Minestrone Soup Ida's

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Western Family Peas & Carrots, 8 oz
    Western Family Cut Green Beans, 8 oz
    Western Family Kidney Beans, 15 oz
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
    Water, tap, 11 cup (8 fl oz)
    Potato, raw, 1 cup diced

Directions

Put all ingredients into a pan or slow cooker. Add water and tomato paste. Slow cook for 2 hr. in a crock pot. You can use fresh veggies if you are not in a rush. It may take longer to cook.
You can cook pasta up and put it in if you would like later. I don't as it sucks up a lot of the juice.

I do not add any salt or pepper as there is enough Sodium in the can veggies. You can if you want.

This made 12- 1 cup servings for me.

I cool and freeze in 2 cup containers, then put in Seal-a- Meal bags for later in the Winter.
