Introduction

This is a traditional island recipe - made for the kids when we live there. This is a traditional island recipe - made for the kids when we live there.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    4 eggs, beaten
    3/4 cup milk
    3/4 tsp vanilla
    2 cups sugar
    4 cups flour
    3 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt

Directions

Heat oil in pan to fry or deep fryer (350 degrees).

Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and sugar.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.

Drop rounded spoonfuls, or formed round balls, into oil. Fry until doughnut surfaces and is golden brown.
