Sauted Carrots

Introduction

This is hands down the best way to prepare carrots, at least we think so. Personally I believe the use of Canola or Vegtable Oil as opposed to Olive produces a better flavor but I've done it both ways and this recipe still comes out good! Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 cups of carrots cut into strips
    6 cups of water
    2 tablespoons of Canola Oil
    2 teaspoons Molly McButter ( or more if desired )
    6 teaspoons of sugar
    *Salt as required

Directions

1.) Place water onto boil while cutting carrots
2.) When carrots are tender remove from pot, do not cook until completly soft or this recipe will turn into something more like mashed carrots. but then again it is also good this way if over cooking does occur
3.) Preheat oil in saute pan.
4.) place carrots into pan with sugar shaken all over them and cook at high heat until golden brown.
5.) Put desired amount of Molly McButter all over carrots, toss and serve
