Ingredients

    2 c. sour milk
    2 large egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tbls. oil
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg (to taste)

Directions

Mix all ingredients together with a whisk, while heating a griddle to a low/medium setting. When batter is ready (it should be a little thick - add flour by the tbls. if needed), pour 3 tbls. per pancake and let cook until bubbles form (don't let edges get dry). Flip once, until lightly browned on both sides. Store in a container with a lid until the batter is all made, to keep pancakes warm and moist.

  • Nice. My family likes pancakes a little sweet, so I added 2 Tbsp sugar. You could use Splenda.
