Stuffed Bell Peppers

Introduction

This is a recipe my mom always made I read a bunch of recipes added my own seasoning and some additional ingreadents. This is also enough for a single course meal espically if you are trying to loose weight but its also good paired with a salad. Hope you like it. Ingredients

    1lb Lean ground turkey
    2 Bell peppers
    1 bag white rice (90 min microwave)
    1 jar of tomato sauce (any flavor)
    1 onion
    3 stalks celery
    1 can of diced tomatos(any flavor)
    Fat free chedder cheese
    ( I season to taste so these are estimates)
    2 tbls chili powder
    2 tbls onion powder
    2 tbls oregno
    2 tbls garlic powder
    2 tbls pepper
    1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning

Directions

Preheat oven to 400
Cut up onion and celery set aside
Cut bell peppers in half long ways and gut them
Brown meat with onion (Drain)
Add celery and rice
Add tomatos and corn (drained)
Add about 1.5 cups tomato sause (to desired texture)
Add seasonings to taste
heat mixture
Scoop mixture into pepper halfs (there may be some left over perfect for someone who refuses to eat peppers)
top with a little bit of sauce
top with cheese
Bake at 400 for 30 min or until peppers are the desired tenderness
