Pam's Kicked Up Shrimp Ramen Noodles

Submitted by: PSWAP57

Introduction

This is NOT a healthy recipe, but I love it anyway. It is quick, easy & delicious. I try to limit myself to once a week on a night when my hubby is gone and I don't have to cook supper. I also like to eat it when I have a cold. This is NOT a healthy recipe, but I love it anyway. It is quick, easy & delicious. Ingredients

1 pkg shrimp flavored ramen noodles with seasoning pkt
    Boiling water
1 heaping teaspoon Morton's Hot Salt (w/chipotle powder)
    1/2 t dried cilantro
    Juice of a lemon
Approx. 3 T shredded parmesan cheese

Directions

Break up the noodles and put in extra-large soup bowl. Boil water (I use a tea kettle) and pour over the noodles. Add the seasoning packet, a heaping teaspoon of the Hot Salt, cilantro and the lemon juice. Use more or less Hot Salt according to your taste - I like mine very spicy. Stir and let sit about 5 minutes. Add the parmesan and enjoy. If you use a very large soup bowl as I do, it makes a lot of broth and is very filling.
