Vegetarian Sloppy Joes

Introduction

I used to love Manwich when I was a kid... now that I'm a vegetarian, this is a super tasty substitute! I used to love Manwich when I was a kid... now that I'm a vegetarian, this is a super tasty substitute!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/4 bell pepper, green
    1/2 small onion
    1/3 tbsp. olive oil
    1/4 cup tomato sauce, low sodium
    1 packet of SPLENDA® sweetener
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 cup Boca Ground Burger (Veggie Crumbles)

Directions

Rinse and chop pepper and onion finely. In a non stick saucepan, heat oil on medium heat and saut├ę pepper and onion until onion is translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Add frozen Boca Crumbles & saute' for another 3-5 minutes. In a small bowl or measuring cup mix tomato sauce with Splenda and chili powder; add to saucepan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until Boca Crumbles are cooked through. Serve mixture over bun.
