1 cup quinoa
1/4 cup frozen peas
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp cumin
pepper to taste
2 cups water
1 egg, slightly beaten
* Transfer to a large bowl and cool, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes, then stir in egg.
* Preheat oven to 400.
* Make quinoa into 2/3 cups patties and put onto lightly greased baking sheet. Gently pat quinoa into a 4-inch-wide patty with spatula.
*Chill cakes, uncovered, at least 15 minutes.
* Bake patties until light gold.
* Let cakes cool before removing from cookie sheet.
