Introduction

This is from a book called North Carolina Barbecue: Flavored by Time, with the modification of Splenda, instead of sugar and the addition of broccoli slaw for more nutrients. I used prepackaged shredded cabbage, but the initial recipe called for a whole head of cabbage shredded. Ingredients

    8 C cabbage, shredded
    1 bag Broccoli Slaw
    1/2 C apple cider vinegar
    1/2 C Splenda
    2/3 C ketchup
    2 t salt
    2 t black pepper
    2 t hot sauce (optional)

Directions

Blend together vinegar through hot sauce. Add cabbage and broccoli slaw. Mix well, and refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Makes 20 servings.
