Spicy Garlic Shrimp

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/4 cup olive oil
    1 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
    4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
    16 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined
    Salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Directions

Makes 4 servings.

In a small saute pan, heat olive oil until it starts to simmer (just below smoking stage). Add pepper flakes, then sliced garlic. As the garlic begins to brown, season shrimp with salt and pepper, then place in pan with garlic, swirling pan gently. Saute over medium high heat 1 minute, then stir in parsley. Saute another minute; remove from heat and serve.
