Low Carb Bread

Ingredients

    2 cups flaxseed meal
    1 Tbsp baking powder
    1 tsp table salt
    1-2 T Splenda
    5 eggs
    1/2 cup water
    1/3 cup canola oil

Directions

Combine dry ingredients, then wet.
Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well.
Let sit for 2-3 minutes. Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.

  • Very good. I subbed flax meal with gluten free flour and put in pizza pans, 1/2 in each. Then I put the crusts on a pizza stone and made pizza. It is awsome. Also, used 1c flax meal and 1c gluton free flour, added grated sharp chedder cheese. Amazing. Colleeflower - 4/25/11

  • great for the low carb diet when you need some fiber and a slice of bread!! it's a very different flavor; i think i'm just not used to that much flax seed. but it's VERY filling!! thanks for sharing! it was just what i was looking for! - 9/15/09
