My Granola Bars

Introduction

My fix for my PB&J craving! My fix for my PB&J craving!
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Honey
    1/4 cup Smucker's Natural Creamy Peanut Butter

    1 1/2 cup Old Fashioned oatmeal- Plain
    1/2 cup Flax Seed Meal (ground flax)
    1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
    1/2 cup sunflower seeds, without salt, hulled
    1/2 cup raisins, packed

    1/2 cup fruit spread
    2 tsp Vanilla extract, imitation

Directions

Heat honey and peanut butter until simmer.
Mix remaining 6 ingredients (dry) in bowl.
Add remaining vanilla and fruit spread to honey and peanut butter and stir until combined.
Pour honey mixture over oatmeal and mix until thoroughly combined.
Pour into greased 8x8 pan and press evenly.
Chill in freezer for apx 20 minutes.

I toasted the p'kin seeds, the sunflower seeds and the oatmeal for a more nutty flavor.

Makes 16 bars
