Easy Autumn Apples

Introduction

You don't need a lot of butter, flour and sugar to make a quick and easy cooked apple dessert that is low in calories and very tasty. Choose your favorite apple.....I like Gala or Rome. Eat this dish warm or cooled, alone or topped with Cool Whip. You don't need a lot of butter, flour and sugar to make a quick and easy cooked apple dessert that is low in calories and very tasty. Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    4 medium fresh apples (Gala or Rome are good)
    1/4 cup apple juice (Fresh cider is great if in season)
    1 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp sugar (white or brown)
    Pam cooking spray
    That's It. That's all you need!

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Spray a small pottery or glass baking dish with Pam.
Core, peal and thinly slice 4 fresh apples and arrange them in the baking dish.
Pour apple juice or cider over the top of the apples.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together in a small dish and sprinkle on top of the apples.
Cover with foil and bake for 90 minutes at 450 degrees.
Makes two 1 cup servings.
Top with Cool whip if desired.
