Laurie's bacon and cheese omelet

Introduction

Mostly I just built this to get the calories for my lunch one day, but decided to keep it "for posterity." It's pretty high in almost everything, but very nice for a once-in-a-while treat. Mostly I just built this to get the calories for my lunch one day, but decided to keep it "for posterity." It's pretty high in almost everything, but very nice for a once-in-a-while treat.

Ingredients

    1 tbsp olive oil
    2 large eggs
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1 dash salt
    1 dash black pepper
    1.5 tbsp Hormel Bacon Bits
    0.25 cup Kraft Shredded 2% Mexican Four Cheese blend

Directions

Heat oil in small to medium saute pan. Meanwhile beat eggs in a small bowl with garlic powder. Add to pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. When eggs are almost set, sprinkle cheese and bacon bits on half of omelet, fold in half. Turn heat to high. Brown one side to your liking, then flip and brown the other side. Serve immediately.
