Introduction

comfort soup, my husband & I loved it, especially when we shared the flu! comfort soup, my husband & I loved it, especially when we shared the flu!
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    Fresh mushrooms, 2 cups
    olive oil, 2 tbsp
    whole wheat pasta (I like Ronzoni linguine)1.25 cup
    Swansons fat free chicken broth,4 cups
    died instant onions, 2 tbsp
    Parmesean cheese, grated or shredded, 3 tbsp
    garlic powder, to taste

Directions

saute the mushrooms in olive oil, browning until there are brown bits on your sauce pan. Add chicken broth, scraping the sides and bottom of the pan to dissolve the brown bits. Bring chicken broth to a slow boil and add pasta. Cook until pasta is tender, adding onions and garlic powder.
scoop into serving bowls and add cheese. Makes 3, 1.5
