Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 round steaks, about 1/2 lb each
    1/4 cup all purpose flour
    2 carrots, sliced
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1 large onion or 1 cup thinly sliced
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

Directions

Cut round steak in to serving pieces. About 1 inch each. Place flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag and add the steak pieces , a few at a time, shake to cover with flour mixture. Place onion slices on bottom of the stoneware; add meat on top, Top with carrots and celery and cover with the tomato sauce. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high 3-5 hours.
Note: when I made this I added garlic, bell pepper and mushroom. will need to adjust cal. accordingly.
