Introduction

Turkey Black Bean chili adapted from Penzys Magazine, using bulgur and yellow diced pepper as added ingredients. Cook in crockpot for a savory dinner and great lunches. Ingredients

    shady brook extra lean ground turkey (1.5lbs package), 2 cans WELL DRAINED black beans**, 1 can WELL DRAINED dark red kidney beans, 1 yellow bell pepper, 1.5 white onion, diced up; garlic cloves, crushed; ff low sodium vegetable broth, yellow corn (fresh or frozen)

Directions

first, cook turkey onion and garlic in fry pan in a bit of canola oil. Add seasonings (cumin and chili powder and black pepper, cook til turkey is done).

add to crockpot, with other stuff from cans (beans, tomatoes) and the corn, and diced pepper.

Cook on Low for about 8 hours for a savory dinner.
