Ingredients

1 tsp. canola oil
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cups fat free chicken broth, low sodium
6 oz. canned tomato paste
4 oz. green chilis, chopped
1 tsp cumin
16 oz canned black beans, drained and rinsed
16 oz canned navy beans, drained and rinsed
Directions
1. in a large pot, heat the oil over med-high heat. add the onions and cook for 5 min.
2. add the broth, tomato paste, chilis, cumin, and beans. bring to a boil.
3. reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 min, stirring occasionally.
