Crockpot Pork Loin Roast

Ingredients

    1.5 lb boneless pork roast
    1 can fat free chicken broth
    1/4 C Olive Oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 T Paprika
    1 T Garlic Powder
    1 T Poultry Seasoning
    1 t Oregano
    1 t basil
    1/2 T salt
    1/2 t black pepper

Directions

Mix all ingredients except chicken broth and spread over roast, patting it down on both sides. Place roast in crock pot and add the chicken broth. Cook on low heat 8-10 hours on low, or 4-6 hours on high. Add potatoes and carrots in the last 3 hours.

    I made this for dinner tonight and it turned out really good. My family seemed to really enjoy it. I didn't have olive oil in the house though and substituted canola oil and I didn't have paprika - but I put in Thyme and Rosemary instead. It turned out really flavorful and tender. I'd make it again. - 3/17/10

  • Ok I have never cooked a pork roast before and this recipe is easy and fabulous! I cooked this and it was tender and delicious! I added cream of chicken and mushroom soup and more spices for 4 hours on high. My son loved it! - 10/26/12

  • We loved it! I only had beef broth so I used that instead of chicken. I will definitely make it again. Can't wait to turn the left overs into pulled pork sandwiches!
