Split Pea with Ham & Potato Stew

Introduction

Didn't turn out the way I wanted, but still tasted yummy! Gut sticking for sure! Didn't turn out the way I wanted, but still tasted yummy! Gut sticking for sure!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    20 ounces boneless Farmland Hickory Ham, cubed
    2 c white onion, chopped
    4 red potatoes, cubed
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    16 oz dried split green peas
    5 oz matchstick carrots

Directions

Place items in crock pot in order shown - pour 4 cups water over top, cover & cook low about 6 hours. Comes out pretty thick - another "gut sticking" meal
Serving size about 1-1/4 cups
