I used Morningstar Farms veggie crumbles for the "meat" and fat free shredded mozzarella, and mushrooms and zucchini per others suggestions. Also used high fiber pasta with calcium. Very good! - 2/17/10

Lovely. I had to add a little more water while the mix was in the pot, to stop it from sticking to the bottom, but otherwise quite tasty. I'd say that for us, a serve as about 1.5 of the recipe servings. Next time I'll add the mushrooms and sliced olives as per other members' suggestions. - 2/22/09

I just made this and it smells delicious. The only thing I would change is the servings...if this is all that is for dinner, there is no way it serves 12!!!! 6 servings is a lot more reasonable with a salad. I think I will add some canned mushrooms and some sliced black olives next time. Pizza! - 7/13/08

My mother would make this without the noodles, substituting with cooked rice and adding kidney beans and chili powder and called it "Chilie Con Carne". - 2/17/10

Very Satisfying, easy to make a large amount and freeze in individual servings for lunch. Added Red Pepper as well to give it a kick, but this is an individual pref. Thanks! - 6/13/07

This was such an easy base recipe! I left out the peppers as we had none left, added in an extra half cup of onion, and added a half cup of peas. Delish! I did have to add more water, though, to keep the meat and noodles from burning while I waited for the noodles to finish. But overall great! - 2/18/10

We've been making this for years. Our kids loved it. Some substitutions we like: ground turkey, can of diced tomatoes in place of spag sauce, addtl veggies: mushrooms, spinach. I always use w/w pasta. Great for leftovers. Also good to freeze portions. - 2/18/10

We had this for supper last evening with salad and I enjoyed it thoroughly. We made a few variations such as mushrooms and zucchini cut into cubes and a combination of orange cheddar and mozzarella. Was a quicky meal and very tasty. - 2/17/10

I make this but use chicken breast and cut into bite size pieces instead of turkey. My family enjoys this, and we always have chicken in the house. - 1/21/09

I made this for dinner and everyone loved it! I left out the onions and it was still great. I have very little cooking experience and it was easy even for me to make. I threw together one of those salad kits that comes with all the ingredients in the bag (Fresh Express Caesar Lite) and it was great. - 7/18/07

I truly loved this recipe. My husband truly loved it and since it made 12 servings, I was able to seperate this into the servings allowed and froze the rest and got out whenever I wanted something easy and ready. - 4/4/07

YUMMY! ...simple and easy! My boy gobbled it up too, so it's good for the whole family. I did add a little hot sauce to give it a kick, but it was goo regardless. - 3/19/07
