Introduction

yummy cold soup, with asafoetida instead of garlic and onions. yummy cold soup, with asafoetida instead of garlic and onions.

Ingredients

    4 large ripe tomatoes, chopped.
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 cucumber, chopped
    1 large can tomato juice
    1/4 tsp asafoetida
    italian seasoning,salt and pepper to taste

Directions

combine all ingredients in large sauce pan or dutch oven. simmer , covered, on low til cucumbers start to turn clear. stir occasionally.cool, refrigerate and serve cold.
