Fran's Applesauce Cake

Introduction

Perfect for Rosh Hashanah. I adapted this recipe from my mother in law by switching whole wheat flour for white flour and Truvia for 1/2 the sugar in the original recipe. Perfect for Rosh Hashanah. I adapted this recipe from my mother in law by switching whole wheat flour for white flour and Truvia for 1/2 the sugar in the original recipe.
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    2 Cups whole wheat flour
    1/2 Cup sugar
    13 packs of Truvia Sweetener
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp Nutmet
    1/4 tsp Cloves, ground
    2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 cup golden raisins
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup melted Butter (Shedd Spread)
    2 cups Applesauce, unsweetened

Directions

Shift together the dry ingredients; add raisins, chopped walnuts, melted butter and applesauce. Beat until well blended pour into greased and floured (I use Pam for baking) 9x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees 45-50 minutes. If you'd like you can add a confectioners sugar or cream cheese icing (not included in nutritional values)
