Apple Cinnamon Bread

Apple Cinnamon Bread

Introduction

Very moist, delicious bread. Great for company or a teacher's gift! Very moist, delicious bread. Great for company or a teacher's gift!
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1 cup plain unsweetened, no fat yogourt
    3/4 cup 100% pineapple juice
    2 egg whites
    2 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp Cinnamon
    1/2 cup brown sugar (granulated, unrefined organic) (reserve one tsp.)
    2 cups chopped apples
    2 TBSP Oats

Directions

Combine yogourt, pineapple juice and egg whites. Blend well.
In a seperate bowl combine dry ingredients and sugar (reserve one tsp of the sugar for topping) .

Combine wet and dry ingredients together, add apples.

Place in greased, floured bread pan and top with oats, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp sugar.
Makes 1 loaf. One serving equals one half slice of bread.
