Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    2 lbs ground moose meat
    3 cups dry kidney beans
1 cup dry black eyed peas
    1 28 oz can pureed/crushed tomatoes
1 28 oz can whole tomatoes (crush or cut into pieces)
1 24 oz can tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp garlic powder
    4 Tbsp chili powder
    2 Tbsp cayene pepper

Directions

Place the dry beans in a large pot and fill with enough hot water to cover the beans with about 3 inches of water over top of the beans, leave to soak overnight.

Brown off the meat. Drain the beans (there will be about 8 cups of softened beans). Add the various tomato products, beans, meat and spices to crockpot and set for 8 hours of cooking time on highest heat. You can serve this with corn chips or over rice with cheese and onions.

This makes approximatly 20 1.25-cup servings
