Introduction

This is my husband's favorite soup. It is a very hearty, comfort soup, great for Fall & Winter. This is my husband's favorite soup. It is a very hearty, comfort soup, great for Fall & Winter.
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 lb ground, Mild Italian sausage
    .75 cup chopped raw onions
    6 cups spinach, chopped
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    2 Tablespoon chicken boullion - I prefer the paste
    Flavorite Shredded Italian Six Cheeses
    10 cups water
    2 cups skim milk
    salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian spice to taste

Directions

1. Brown and break up the sausage Add onion and cook until almost clear on low.
2. Add water, potatoes, spices and chicken boullion. Cover and cook until potatoes done (about 30 minutes).
3. Add the spinach and the skim milk and cook for cook for about 10 minutes.
4. Slowly add the shredded cheeses, mixing with each addition.
Serve hot. Serves approximately 20 - 1 cup servings
