Introduction

Ingredients

    2 eggs, beaten
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup shortening
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    3 bananas
    1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and grease a loaf pan.

Mash the bananas.

Beat the eggs and add the sugar and shortening. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Add in flour, salt, baking powder, banana, and lemon juice.

Pour in loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.

16 servings per loaf.
