Meaty Macaroni Bake

Introduction

Tastes alot like lasagna - The whole family loves it. Tastes alot like lasagna - The whole family loves it.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 -16 oz jar spicy spghetti sauce
    6 oz elbow macaroni divided
    1 cup sour cream divided
    6 oz provolone (6 slices)
    1/2 cup shredded mozzeralla cheese

Directions

1 - Heat large skillet over med-high heat; add beef. Cook, stirring, until brown and crumbly, about 5 minutes; drain fat.
2 - Add onion to skillet cok for 2 minutes. stir spaghetti sauce into skillet. Simmer, covred for 5 minutes. Mean while cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
3 - preheat oven to 350 F. Spray baking dish with cooking spray. Layer half the pasta, half the sauce, and half sour cream in prepared baking disg. Layer provolone cheese onver tope.
4 - continue layering remaining pasta, sauce and sour cream. top with mozzerella. Cover loosely with foil sprayed with cooking spray. bake for 25 mintes; uncover. bkae for 5 minutes longer.
