Banana Crumb Cake

Ingredients

    Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Brown Sugar, .25 cup, packed (remove)
    Egg, fresh, 2 large (remove)
    *Flour, white, 2.5 cup (remove)
    Banana, fresh, 3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) (remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp (remove)
    Butter, unsalted, 1.25 cup (remove)
    Baking Soda, 1.5 tsp (remove)
    Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
    Buttermilk, lowfat, .25 cup (remove)

Directions

crumb topping:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup of flour

cut butter into sugar & flour until well mixed but still chunky.

batter:

cream butter and sugar together add eggs gradually. add mashed banana some lemon juice( prevents browning) buttermilk and vanilla extract. Sift together the flour salt and baking soda. Add gradually to other mixture.

After being well mixed disperse into cake pans and top with crumb mixture bake for about 30- 45 minutes look at cake and test for doness around 35 minutes. Let cool before topping with powdered sugar if you desire.
